CATAMARAN TOURS
Of course, a catamaran tour is a must here in the Caribbean.
A catamaran is a boat that has two hulls.
The typical equipment of a catamaran includes seating and counter areas,
Sun decks and shaded areas as well as an indoor area that offers protection from high waves.
The advantage is the faster speed with which the twin hull boat can move.
COURSE OF THE EXCURSION:
Our catamaran tour starts in Cancun and the destination is Isla Mujeres, about 14 km away.
After boarding the boat at 9am in Cancun, our guests will enjoy an all - inclusive beverage service.
Therefore, because of the less hard-drinking guests, the snorkeling trip takes place first on the way to Isla Mujeres.
From the catamaran we swim above the unique reef.
The Mesoamerican Reef is the longest transboundary coral reef in the world and the second largest coral reef anywhere after the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
Afterwards we continue to Isla Mujeres. There we can buy some souvenirs before we start at the beach with the rich lunch.
During the approximately 2 hour stay at the beach, you can also rent a golf cart and quickly explore the small island on your own.
Afterwards we sail back relaxed and will be back in Playa del Carmen in the late afternoon.

of 13 USD must be paid to the Mexican government directly at the port before boarding the catamaran.
RECOMMENDATION:
- Please bring enough money for personal expenses such as souvenirs or alcoholic beverages.
- We have drinks in the minivan, nevertheless it is recommended to personally carry 1 l of water on your body when entering the archaeological sites.
- Headgear is recommended.
- Don't forget your swimsuit.
- It is not recommended to go on tour with slippers.
- In no case apply sunscreen before the tour or only biodegradable.
- In the freshwater cenotes on the Yucatan Peninsula, strict attention is paid to water quality, as some of this water is still drunk.
- The chemicals used in conventional sunscreen destroy coral and are harmful to marine life.
Therefore, sunscreen is no longer allowed in Mexico in many natural parks of the Riviera Maya and also on Cozumel.
